Guitar Post

I've had a number of ideas to write about recently yet have been ignoring the BLOG for quite some time.

One of the things on my mind has to do with guitars. I bought another electric guitar on eBay a few months ago and love it, but I fear I'm becoming more of a "gear head" than a musician. In other words, I like pretty guitars and the sounds they make but can't play them nearly as well as I'd like.

With that in mind, I'm considering buying a kit or or some parts to see if I can build my own guitar from scratch or possibly buy something cheap but fun like a Squier '51 and modify every aspect of it just to learn how. At this point, building something from scratch almost sounds easier than learning to play like Brian May.

Tonight I found another clip (this time on YouTube) that shows just how good a player one can become with a little practice.
